Three markets, three stories

In India, we marketed pay-as-you-go phones preloaded with Gmail and Drive, built for a market where annual plans were rare. In Latin America, we ran a public sector campaign for governments moving off Microsoft. In Australia, billboards and buses showed why security matters for your documents and data.

Senior Program Marketing Manager, Google for Work

Global campaigns at Google scale.

I directed central digital field marketing operations and global sales alignment for Google for Work, in a 400-person organization then led by Sundar Pichai. From Google's central campaigns team, I designed programs that regional teams launched across EMEA, APAC and Latin America.

THE CHALLENGE

What needed to change

Run campaigns that work in very different markets, while making sure every lead reached the right salesperson across hundreds of sellers worldwide.

REFLECTION

What I took away & skills

How to test and run campaigns at global scale, and how to close the loop between marketing and sales. It also showed me what marketing a product that sells itself feels like, which is why my next move was a startup.
